PhD CE, Managing Director
Dr. Irina Stipanović is founder and Managing Director of Infra Plan konzalting.
Irina has extensive experience in research and development projects and professional activities related to sustainability of construction materials, life cycle management, risk and climate change impacts assessment and maintenance planning of transport infrastructure networks. She has worked for more than 15 years in academia, from which 7 years in the Netherlands.
MSc CE, Senior Advisor
Sandra has more than 15 years of experience in the field of assessment, repair design projects of concrete and steel structures and supervision of construction projects. She has worked as a consultant in the large engineering company for more than 10 years, and beside that has been involved continuously in R&D projects.
MSc Traff. Eng., Senior Advisor
Daniel has a broad range of experience as a consultant in energy, climate and environmental protection, gained through his work with civil society organisations and companies, managing projects at both national and EU level.
His main areas of expertise include greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories and carbon footprint assessment, LCA modelling and analysis, and climate change vulnerability and risk assessment. He has led and contributed to the development of SECAPs (Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans) for local authorities in Croatia, including the development of energy efficiency measures, the use of renewable energy sources, and climate change adaptation measures.
MSc CS, Software Solution Developer
Marko has 5 years of experience at software engineering and other computer science related fields. He has worked on various projects ranging from developing custom software solutions for small businesses, to maintaining and developing large scale platforms. His academic background is in computer vision and object detection.
MSc Geol., GIS Data Specialist
Martina is a geologist with extensive experience in analyzing geospatial data and GIS technologies. She has worked as a geospatial data analyst and business support specialist. Additionally, she continues to educate in database administration and data science. Martina has contributed to significant projects focused on sustainable management, alternative mobility, and the development of a unified data model for land monitoring.
MSc CE, Risk Management Consultant
Iva holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Hydraulic Engineering. Currently, she is a doctoral student at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Zagreb, majoring in Geotechnical Engineering.
Iva has several years of experience at Infra Plan Consulting through research and development projects in the fields of infrastructure and risk management. Her work focuses on risk analysis, impact assessment, and the development of key performance indicators. She participates in projects related to transport, water, and energy infrastructure.
MSc CE, Sustainable building management consultant
Leon holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in geotechnics and has several years of experience at Infra Plan. He is currently pursuing a PhD at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Zagreb, in the field of geotechnics.
His work focuses on the development and application of decision support systems in infrastructure projects. In addition, he is engaged in assessing the impacts of climate change and performing data analysis — areas in which he continues to advance his expertise.
MSc CE, BIM Coordinator and Modeler
Marta graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Zagreb, majoring in Construction Management. During and after her studies, she completed several training courses for working in various BIM software. She uses the knowledge she has gained to work on projects developed within a BIM environment. She is responsible for developing and maintaining 3D models that combine geometric and technical data in accordance with project specifications. She is also involved in coordinating between project teams and integrating data from various disciplines.
MSc CS, Software Engineer
Matija is a software engineer with several years of experience in the GPS automotive navigation software industry. He has worked on delivering navigation solutions for major OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. Matija is interested in research software and works on development, contribution and implementation of open-source solutions, combining his experience with a curiosity for new technologies and innovative approaches to problem-solving.
MSc BE, PhD candidate in Infrastructure Health Monitoring
Hamed holds a Master of Science in Building Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and possesses a robust background in civil engineering. His professional expertise includes developing advanced deep learning architectures and data engineering solutions for monitoring underground structures. Additionally, Hamed is proficient in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and the implementation of digital twin methodologies. Currently, he is a Marie Curie-funded PhD researcher at Infraplan, working within the FOURIER project to pioneer innovative techniques for enhancing infrastructure monitoring.
MSc Geography, PhD candidate and Remote Sensing and GIS Specialist
Lou holds a Master’s degree in Geography, specializing in Remote Sensing from the University of Zurich. He has 10 years of experience in remote sensing, GIS, photogrammetry, and machine learning across academia and industry. His work includes projects at ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich, focusing on automated geospatial and AI-based workflows using Python and Google Earth Engine. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD within the MSCA FOURIER Project, developing AI-based methods for infrastructure health monitoring using large-scale synthetic data.
