Sandra Škarić Palić and Daniel Rodik participated in the BEEYONDERS Final Event in Madrid, where the consortium presented the project’s final impact assessment results, focusing on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Life-Cycle Costing (LCC), and productivity analyses across key use cases.
Held on 12 May at ACCIONA’s headquarters, the event showcased the project’s main innovations in robotics, AI, and automation for the construction sector, including exoskeletons, smart safety wearables, intelligent monitoring systems, and autonomous drones, alongside demonstrations of autonomous machinery and VR training solutions.
Maritime construction innovations were also presented, highlighting additive manufacturing solutions for biocompatible marine infrastructure developed by Holcim, SEABOOST, and COBOD.
The event also featured a panel discussion on inclusion in construction, addressing gender equality and barriers to participation in the sector.
The BEEYONDERS Final Handbook and event recordings are now available (Part 1&Part 2), summarising key results and recommendations for the sector.
